About Charmy Snow Ice

Established in 1979, we were initially known as “Charmy store” In the inception of the company we had only one product, which is the Snow Ice. Because of delicious unique taste, we took the south Taiwan market by storm. People of all ages and from all walks of life found our product unique and hard to resist, making long queues just to have a taste of it.

Many competitors have tried to imitate our product, but none have come close to achieve the same level of success we have had in the market. Emphasizing on all points of marketing strategies, we direct profits back to our franchisees.

Having since revolutionized old methods of marketing to ensure our franchises prosper, and at the same time increasing our potential in the market, to achieve a win-win situation, we have set up Charmy Food Cooperation Limited in the Kaohsiung Da-Fa industrial area of Taiwan, modernizing our business through automatic machinery, and mass producing our products.

During the recent economic downturn, Charmy Enterprise has used her 28 years of experience in developing a myriad of foodstuff and expanding her presence not only in Taiwan, but in franchises all around the world. Through research and development, and making innovations on frozen desert and cooked food, we have established ourselves at the forefront of the food industry. As such, we remain unaffected by the downturn, while our distinguished competitors found themselves struggling because they could not upgrade their products to stay competitive.

Charmy Food Cooperation limited has successfully established itself both as a pioneer and innovator in the food industry, serving customers around the world all year long.

History brief:
  1. 1979, Establish “ Charmy store” with a capital of NT$ 16 Thousand.
  2. 1982, Appling the Franchise strategy, Charmy setup 17 stores in the first year. At the end of second year we achieve a total of 37 stores in and establish our brand name in Southern Taiwan.
  3. 1983 December, establishment of Charmy Food CO., LTD. in Kaohsiung Taiwan.
  4. 1985, Invest in 21,000 sq feet of industrial land and built the 42,000 sq feet factory to further expand the business.
  5. 2002, Directed by Mr. Stan Fang, Charmy Asia operating Center is setup in Singapore to expand the franchise of Charmy Snow ice overseas.
  6. 2002, Charmy Food CO., LTD. was achieved the highest honor by the judge committee in "Top Ten of National Elaboration Award for high Quality Enterprise" held by Chinese industry, Commence, Economy, Trade Science & Technology Development Association
  7. 2004, Franchise the distribution rights to 12 countries and setup franchise chain Headquarter in 6 countries.
  8. At year of 2005, we have more then 300 franchisee worldwide.
  9. 2005, Forecast to franchise the distribution right to a total of 15 countries at the end of the year.
  10. 2005, Setup of global net work with information technology to expedite the expansion of the overseas market.
  11. 2006 have got the HACCP certificate, Authorized by SGS
  12. 2006 Franchise the distribution rights to 15countries and setup franchise chain Headquarter in 21 cities.
  13. 2006 December ballot No.1 products in Japan Yahoo Web site
